Difficulties and reflections of the implementation of pesticide package recycling project :In the view of packaging management

In order to understand the current situation of pesticide packaging and explore the impact on the project implementation, a 19-month recycling test was launched at Xijing Village, Zengcheng District, Guangzhou. The results showed that there were 220 kinds of pesticides in the sample, involving 147 pesticide production enterprises, 5 countries and 21 domestic provinces (cities). Pesticide formulations turned out to cover quite a wide range but still with a non-standardized one. And despite of pesticide packaging specifications were various, the standardization was low, and mainly small packaging. All directly affected the effective use of package, recycling process supervision and cost control, and also made the value of information on pesticide package neglected. Therefore, it is extremely urgent to formulate and improve the pesticide package recycling regulations and strengthen the standardization of pesticide package. At the same time, it should innovate the recycling mode and recycling technology of pesticide package waste, and increase the added value of recycling value chain.
