Abstract
Genome databases of Brassica rapa, Brassica oleracea and Brassica napus were used to identify the MTP1 genes in the whole genomes, the AtMTP1 gene sequences in Arabidopsis thaliana were used as reference. Blastn alignment and conserved domain analysis were performed against the AC genomes in Brassicas, and 8 MTP1 genes were found, in which 1, 3 and 4 homologous sequences of MTP1 genes in B. rapa, B. oleracea and B. napus (3 genes in A subgenome, 1 gene in C subgenome), respectively. Bioinformatics analysis by bioinformatics tools and resources from the internet of MTP1 genes in Brassicas showed that, different MTP1 genes of the 3 species were different in the composition of nucleic acid sequences and amino acid sequences, subcellular localization, phosphorylation sites, hydrophilicity and hydrophobicity, secondary structure and conserved domains. The expression patterns of 4 BnMTP1 genes in different tissues were compared and analyzed with the transcriptome data of Brassica napus.
