Abstract
In order to screen antagonistic bacterium which could inhibit the growth of phytopathogenic fungi, the antagonistic strain was isolated by screen with Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. niveum as indicator and then using dual culture. An antagonistic bacterium AUH-1 against F. oxysporum f. sp. niveum was isolated from 26 different types of soil samples collected from Nanchang,Ganzhou,Yingtan,Pingxiang,Wuyishan and Shijiazhuang, etc.,with the inhibition rate of 36.15%. Based on morphological characteristics, physiological and biochemical characteristics, and 16S rDNA sequence analysis, the strain was preliminarily identified as Streptomyces corchorusii and named as S. corchorusii AUH-1 here.
