Abstract
Natural rubber is an important strategic raw material for manufacturing a wide variety of industrial products. Intercropping is one of the most effective and sustainable way to increase the production per unit area through the effective use of resources in rubber plantation. Research on temperature-light characteristics and crop production intercropped in rubber plantation with paired row plantion system were carried out between 2014-2016. Results showed that light intensity of rubber plantation with paired row plantion system was much higher than that fo normal rubber plantation in summer( July). The light intensity at the middle sits of rubber plantation with paired row plantion system was 70% of the value of CK( bare land). The average light intensity of rubber plantation with paired row plantion system was 50% of the value of CK( bare land). The average light intensity of normal rubber plantation was 11% of the value of CK( bare land). In the pattern of rubber tree/vegetables,red radish ,pea and ginger showed normal growth and development. In the patter of rubber tree/ grain crops, the yield of intercropped yam bean( 12.7 t/hm2) had no significant difference with monocultural yam bean( 13.5 t/hm2). The Fresh calyx yield and flavone content of intercropped roselle were significantly decreased by 57% and 28.2% compared with that of the control, respectively. This study provides a theoretical basis and technical support for the intercropping in rubber plantation with paired row plantion system.
