Delimitation of land ecological red line in county area of Three Gorges Reservoir Area—A case study of Jiangjin district in Chongqing

Irrational human activities lead to the deterioration of the ecological environment，and delineation of ecological redline zones has great significance to curb the degradation of the ecological environment，strengthen regional ecological protection and maintain the sustainable development of the economy and society. In this paper， the study was carried out in the Jiangjin district of Chongqing as an example，under the support of spatial technology method，5 indexes including elevation，slope，soil，vegetation coverage and water were selected to evaluate the ecological sensitivity，and the study area was divided into 9 types of ecosystem from the perspective of land use， 11 indexes were used to evaluate the value of regional ecosystem services. According to the results of ecological sensitivity and ecological service value，the land ecological redline of the study area was delineated. The results showed that land ecological redline area was 1 091.30 km2，accounting for 33.9% of the total area of Jiangjin district. Delineation of land ecological redline provides a reference for ecological protection in county area.
