Impact of rural labor transfer on farmers' agricultural production in underdeveloped areas——Based on transcendental logarithmic production function and the microscopic data of farmers

The large-scale transfer of rural labor has had a complicated impact on agricultural production， and this article summarizes the current debate on whether rural labor transfer hinders agricultural production. Based on field research，this paper empirically analyzes the effect of rural labor transfer on agricultural production in less developed areas through the transcendental logarithmic model. The results show that: the“Lewis turning point” in the less developed areas has arrived，the agricultural production has shown a negative impact on rural labor transfer. Its mechanism of action is reflected as follows: the shortage of agricultural labor caused by the transfer of rural labor force has led directly to the decline of agricultural production，And indirectly lead to a decline in land use efficiency and a decrease in agricultural productive investment. This article argues that measures should be taken to improve the capacity of rural labor force and increase the scale of agricultural production so as to make up for the negative impact of rural labor loss.
