Abstract
The effects of 0.4mmol/L zinc on the absorption and root morphology of cadmium under cadmium stress were studied in this experiment with Xiangwanxian 12 as the material. The results showed that root fresh weight, root length, root surface area and root volume decreased significantly under Cd stress, and increased with the increase of stress concentration and treatment time. The inhibition of each rootage indicatrixes was alleviated by the treatment of 0.4 mmol/L Zn. Compared with Cd stress treatment, root fresh weight, root length, root surface area and root volume increased by 1.8%-38.8%,-0.04%-25.0%,-0.05%-29.9% and -0.06%-28.3%,respectively. In the short term, the total accumulation of rice seedling was 28.4%,24.9%,8.3%,respectively,which was significantly different from that of 10,20 and 50μmol/L Cd treatment. However, under long-term( 6d,9d) ,Zn had no significant effect on the redistribution of Cd in rice seedlings. The addition of Zn significantly promoted the transport of Cd to the shoots under Cd stress, and the transfer coefficient reached 0.21-0.28,which was radically different from that of Cd stress alone.
