Introduction test of new flue-cured tobacco varieties from Zimbabwe in Panxi area

To know the introduction performance of new varieties of flue-cured tobacco in Zimbabwe，8 fluecured tobacco varieties（lines）：KRK6，KRK26R，KRK66，T68，T71，T72，09011 and A28 were tested. Their characters and chemical components were analyzed in the growing conditions of Panxi region，and the varieties were appraised and judged，so as to select the best varieties. The results showed that KRK6 had the best comprehensive performance in field investigation and experiment analysis，and the preliminary rankings were as follows: KRK6> 09011> T71> A28> KRK26R> T72> KRK66> T68，which could to provide a reference for the screening of fine Zimbabwe cultivars in Panxi area.
