Analysis on driving force of“ non-grain” planting behavior of family farm

Family farm has important significance to improve intensive agricultural production and solve the problem of land abandonment. But family farm in the scale of operation process is difficult to avoid a significant“ nongrain” tendency. To analyze the driving force of non-grain planting behavior, will be conducive to the development of family farm in the right direction, to provide references for formulating effective agricultural policies, establishing reasonable subsidies, ensuring food security. The research took Guanghan city, Sichuan province and Rongchang district Chongqing as examples, used stratified random sampling method and binary Logistic model, from the four aspects of family farm’s characteristics, resource endowments, economic factors, policy factors, analyzed the driving force of non-grain planting behavior in family farm. The results showed that the degree of farmers’ education, characteristics of cultivated field, mechanical input, farmland input and farmland output were the main factors influencing the non-grain cultivation of family farm. So，in the process of land transfer, we need to pay attention to the non-grain planting behavior, take positive countermeasures, to further optimize the grain production layout and stabilize the production area of main grain crops.
