Development situation and countermeasures of Guangdong flower industry in 2015

Flower industry is one of the most dynamic industries in the world. In recent 10 years，the world flower industry grew at an average annual rate of 25%. The main areas of flower production gradually spread and transferred to developing countries and regions，with huge demand for consumption. The logistics mode has matured in the world floricultural industry. The scale of China's flower industry continued to expand in 2015. Guangdong flower industry kept stable development in 2015，and the industrial structure adjusted steadily. In 2014，the flower planting area of Guangdong was 73 500 hm2，continuing to rise with a year-on-year growth of 20.34%. In addition，exports were 111 million，falling apparently by 11.61% over the same period of the previous year. At the same time， the number of flower business entities also decreased. The analysis of science and technology revealed that science and technology progress played a key role in the development of flower industry，and technological innovation continued to grow steadily in flower industry. Further countermeasures were put forward，including strengthening macro guidance to promote the development of“ Internet +” flower pattern；optimizing the industrial layout to set precise position；optimizing theorganization to guide the transformation and upgrading of enterprises；developing sightseeing flower industry to create new consumption growth points；speeding the construction of circulating system to promote the production and marketing interaction.
