Abstract: Taking 30 ornamental crabapple resources in Nanjing Mochou Lake park as materials，using the analytic hierarchy process（ AHP） ，the comprehensive evaluation index system of ornamental crabapple resources in Nanjing city park，including the ecological value，ornamental value，social and cultural value and economic value was established. According to the final score of the overall landscape values of ornamental crabapple resources，they could be divided into five grades，such as high（ I），high（ II），（III） ，low（ IV） and lower（ V） . There were 4 species at grade I with high comprehensive landscape value，the proportion was about 13%；17 species were at grade II and the proportion was about 57%；9 species were at grade III with the proportion of about 30%. Consulting the final comprehensive evaluation and results of each level，this article recommend the species which were suitable to be used in Nanjing area and put forward some suggestions on greening application.
