植物金属硫蛋白研究进展

    Research advances of plant metallothioneins

    • 摘要: 植物金属硫蛋白是一类可与金属子结合的、富含半胱氨酸残基的小分子蛋白,在植物界广泛存在,可以被众多非生物因素诱导产生,其所具有的强烈的清除自由基和结合重金属离子的能力使其成为植物研究的热点。对植物金属硫蛋白的分类、基因结构与调控、结构、性质与应用、分离纯化与检测等方面的近期研究进展作简单介绍,同时提出一些研究中存在的问题,并对其研究前景进行展望。

       

      Abstract: Plant metallothioneins(MTs) are low-molecular weight proteins with rich cysteine, and can bind metal-ions. They are wide -spread in plant kingdom and can be induced by many abiotic factors. The unique characteristics of scavenging ROS (reactive oxygen species) and binding metal-ions make it a hot topic in plant researches. In this paper, the advances in the classification, genetic structure and regulation, structure, characteristics and application, separation and purification of plant metallothioneins were briefly introduced, as well as detection methods. Besides, some scientific problems in the research were listed, and the landscape of plant metallothioneins research was prospected.
