Abstract: Rice production in Guangdong kept stable development overall in the first half of 2015， the seeding area of early rice edged down continuously， but the yield did not reduced， and the land resource constraints further strengthen. The prices of unhusked rice and rice were stable， but affected by the national policy on the rice and selling price at home and abroad， the trend of strong unhusked rice price and weak rice price intensified. In addition， the rice industry in Guangdong was faced with the hitting from imported rice at a lower price and the special weather such as rainy， typhoon， which restricted the yield. In conclution， some countermeasures were put forward， including strengthening the management of agricultural materials and rice prices， promoting large-scale planting， increasing investment in science and technology， supporting rice circulation and processing link.
