Abstract: This article describes the status of research in different mariculture breeding species，different farming methods and their contamination and causes，then discusses some of the existing methods of aquaculture contamination quantitative research，such as Material Balance Method，Ammonia Measurement Method，Chemical Analysis Method， and describes the effects of mariculture on coastal marine environment，farming water，environmental impact of their own progress and results obtained. After the discussion on the mariculture contamination mechanism，some suggestions to maintain the mariculture environment are put forward，at the same time summarizes the direction of further scientific research，including focusing on the source of regional contamination and contamination mechanism analysis，focusing on analysis of regional differences；enhancing the monitoring and control of contamination，in particular，paying attention to the application of new techniques.
