Abstract:
Investigated the population of Pseudodendrothrips mori in Husang-32, Yunsang-2 and Nongsang-14 by the blue sticky cards, aimed to understand the host preference and occurrence dynamic of P. mori. The result indicated that the volume occurred of mulberry thrips was in the sequence of Husang-32 Yunsang-2 Nongsang-14, and trap catches of Husang-32 were significantly higher than those Yunsang-2 and Nongsang-14. The population of P. mori increased from February to April, and the outbreak period was April to May, and decreased after summer cutting of mulberry. Humidity was an important factor in the population dynamics of P. mori, and there was favor to outbreak at the relative humidity about 50%. Therefore, mulberry thrips were preference to Husang-32. Thus, at low relative humidity season, more attentions should bepaid to the mulberry thrips control.
