Abstract: Based on the requirement analysis of web services platform for Guangdong agricultural products, the functions were determined. The web services platform architecture includes operating environment layer, information perception layer, information resource layer, functional service support layer, application platform layer and access layer, as well as standards and information security systems. The performance of the platform is enhanced through some key technologies, such as J2EE architecture, product traceability, product visualization. Based on this platform, the brand value and sales of agricultural products in Guangdong province would be significantly improved. Also, the implementation of the platform can be assistant to resolve the issues of other information system.
