Abstract: In order to evalute the performance of new sugurcane clones for adaptability of plant in different ecological climate zone in Guangxi, 13 excellent new sugarcane varieties were selected to compare with the variety ROC 22. The experiments with the sugarcane clones were carried out in Nanning, Liuzhou, Hechi, Baise, Beihai and Chongzuo respetively, and the yield, sugar and hectare sucrose content were analysed. The results showed that Liutang 07-95, GT 05-818, GT 04-1045 had the best performance, surpassed ROC22 in production and sucrose content, GT 03-591, GT 06- 533, GT 04-2603 had the better performance their yield and sugar content surpassed ROC22, the sucrose contents of GT 03-66, GT 03-91 and GT 04-1545 were better than that of ROC22, and the rest varieties had general performance in this planting experiment.
