Abstract: By using the survey data about demand for rural water conservancy facilities of Hunan province爷s farmers and grey correlation analysis method, the demand priority of farmers to the rural water conservancy facilities was studied. Results showed that in Hunan province the demand priority o of farmers to the rural water conservancy facilities are the quasi-public rural water conservancy facilities, the profit -making rural water conservancy facilities and the pure public rural water conservancy facilities. There were very significant differences among the three kinds of water conservancy facilities. Therefore, in order to optimize the structure of rural water conservancy facilities supply, improve the utilization efficiency of agricultural credit funds, the government should give priority to the development of the quasi-public rural water conservancy facilities to meet the most urgent needs of farmers. In realization of this type of water conservancy facilities to a certain satisfaction, the government should give overall consideration and pay attention to the coordinated development.
