Abstract: Mangosteen Garcinia mangostana L.is the characteristic tropical agriculture industry of southern Hainan province. In the last one decade, the economic benefit of mangosteen planting was significant, the cultivated area increased fastly. Based on good seedlings demand for the scale planting of mangosteen seedling and graft seedling propagation techniques were introduced, and some focus studies of seedling propagation were provided for recent time.
