Abstract: The paper analyzed the situation of prawn industry about product and supply at home and abroad. The emphasis was the development of Guangdong prawn industry, including the output of prawn, areal distribution, supply and demand situation of prawn industry, feed sales of prawn, prawn disease, seedling quality, contribution rate of science and technology, etc. The price of prawn production and influencing factors in 2013 was analyzed. With combination of current situation of prawn industry, the trend of prawn price of 2014 was forecasted. According to the parent prawn cultivating, disease control, supervision measures and so on, the paper put forward the corresponding countermeasure and proposal on Guangdong prawn industry.
