Abstract: Based on the background of development status of tobacco industry at home and abroad, the paper analyzed the sisutation of Guangdong tobacco industry in 2012, pointed out the sci-tech status of tobacco industry and that key technologies need to solve, then proposed the targeted suggestions from construction of tobacco industry, construction of cooperatives, team building, brand building, etc, provide references for promoting the sustainable development of tobacco industry under the new situation in the next step.
