Abstract: Based on Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) model, this paper researches on the agricultural production investment efficiency of various regions in Chongqing, analyzing the present situation and changing trend of comprehensive efficiency, scale efficiency and pure technical efficiency of agricultural production investment in various regions of Chongqing from 2005 to 2012. Meanwhile, finding out the exiting problems of input of agricultural production and doing better planning for agricultural development of Chongqing. In addition, this research provides the basis to further deepen the reform of Chongqing爷s agriculture, rejuvenating every family through science and education, liberating and developing the agricultural forces as well as accelerating the pace of agricultural modernization.
