Abstract: Nowadays, swine -breeding management is usually based on relational database management system, developing management functions according enterprise demand improves the efficient level of swine-breeding management. However, there are two disadvantages as following: firstly, it is difficult to achieve one by one fine management on account of the same management content of each pig; secondly, it is low efficient to operate data by multi-joining , because data about a pig is divided into different tables. With the application of sensor network, the Thing of Internet and intelligent terminal, swine-breeding management is changing to fine management oriented every pig and automatic data collecting. In order to overcome the shortcoming of relational scheme and the development of new situation, this paper researched the application of XML data management in swine-breeding management.
