Abstract: Calophyllum genus oil, extracted from seeds of C. genus plant, can be used as raw materials of biodiesel and also be used as a cooking oil after refining processing. The application of C. genus oil is very extensive, and the research on C. genus oil has raised the attention of the researchers. This paper introduces the distribution characteristics, fruit characteristics, oil characteristics, extraction technology, comprehensive utilization of C. genus plants seeds in China, the problem in the study and utilization of C. genus oils and finally put forward some suggestions, in order to provide reference for the further study of the development and utilization of C. genus plants oil
