Abstract: Based on improving agricultural insurance coverage, this paper analyzes the practices of agricultural mutual insurance and the development of farmers' professional cooperatives in Shijiazhuang city, Hebei province, and concludes that the agricultural mutual insurance can be close to the farmers' demand, reduce the transaction costs of agricultural insurance, improve agricultural insurance coverage, finally analyzes the key points in future development from the aspects of policy support, business management and supervision
