Abstract: Coventional rice Yuexiangzhan and restorer line R229 hybridized in 2002 to obtain ealy rice in Zhaoqing Academy of Agricultural Sciences. The F1 individual plant and coventional rice Jinchaosimiao multiply hybridized to obtain late rice in 2002. Weakly photosensitive hybrid indica rice Youyou7148 was obtained by of the individual plant obtained above and the sterile line Yuan A bred by The Southern China Botanical Garden, afer pedigree breeding of 5 generation. It is a rice with stable production and resistance to blast. It was registered by Guangdong Provincial Crop Variety Appraisal Committee in January, 2012. This paper introduced the breeding process and stable production cultivation techniques.
