Abstract: Forest resource in China has entered a phase of rapid development at present, and the total amount of forest resources is growing sustainably. Forest pests and diseases associated with this process rise, and in the many control methods, forest precise targeted spray utilizing spraying technology is an effective method to control pest. The current situation of forest resources in China and the importance of precise targeted spray technique were described in this article.Meanwhile domestic and international research levels and related achievements were analyzed from the two aspects of target detection technique and spaying technique. Finally the existing shortcomings of forest precise targeted spray technique were pointed out and the development trend of this field were also preliminary predicted combining with the author's research direction.
