Abstract: By special field investigation and identification methods, the bamboo shoot pests was studied in the main bamboo shoots planting areas of Jiedong county. The results showed that the major pests of bamboo shoot were Algedonia coclesalis, Azygophleps sp., Pleonomus canaliculatus, Bamboo aphid and Ceracris nigricornis. The damage status and occurrence regularith of pests were reported. The corresponding control strategies of these pests were also proposed.
