Abstract: In this paper, the effects of three factors including storage temperature, hormone type and hormone concentration on the germination characteristics for seeds of medicinal plant Buchnera cruciatas were revealed by orthogonal design. The results showed that the seed quality factor served as the first principal component and the germinating performance factor the second, which cumulative variance proportion were more than 65%, storage temperature and hormone concentration had more significant effect than hormone type on germination. The treatment of -20益storage temperature and treated with 100 mg/L 6-BA was optimal for seed germination of Buchnera cruciatas.
