Abstract: This article provides the comprehensive analysis on production distribution, industrial patterns, silk exports, cocoon prices movements and production cost-benefit of Guangdong sericulture industry from 2011 to 2012. In order to enhance the overall efficiency of sericulture industry, the proposal is to increase the level of sericulture production technology, support the establishment of a number of standardized sericulture production bases, strengthen resource development and utilization of sericulture, improve the technology promotion and service system, and enhance sericulture technology and market information services levels on the use of information technology.
