Abstract: Ricabia Speculum walker，a new insect pest attacking the mangrove，was reported.A systematic study on the occurrence regularity of Ricabia Speculum walker in Futian Mangrove Nature Reserve of Shenzhen was conduceted based on the investigation in the field and rearing in the laboratory. The pest had one generations per yer year , and it overwintered as eggs . Overwintering eggs hatched from mid April to late June,and the peak period of incubation occurred in the early may.the infestation period of the larvae occrred from early may to late June,and of the adults occrred from early June to late September.The peak period of adult emergenced from early July to late July; prevention and control advice the correct prevention insect to lay the foundation for the future.
