Abstract: There is a great increase of rice outputs and yields in Guangdong Province. The production cost has slightly raised but the peasants爷income has greatly increased. Rice insurance has been experimented and enlarged. The contribution of science and technological progress tended to be stable. Peasants were inclined to choose the varieties and technology which needs high material inputs and low labor inputs. And the market distribution of rise breed industry was centralized. New breed such as Huanghuazhan, which has high technological economy benefit has appeared. It has advantages in rice price, material cost, total grain number and rice quality, so it has increase area in Guangdong and Hunan Province. It has great social and economical benefits.
