Abstract: The growth regions of potato in Liupanshui region of Guizhou province were investigated by field survey and regional geochemistry analysis to show that the content of essential element in potato concide with the soil environmental conditions. It can be concluded that the content of essential element in the growing soil will affect the yield and quality of tubers. It was very useful to choose the soil contained suitable essential elements to improve the quality and yield of the potato.
