Abstract: Urban green space is an important part of the ecological system, and plays an important role in the city environmental development in the city. The characteristics of TM remote sensing image were introduced, and the application theory on urban green space information extraction and general process of extracting green space information using TM image have been expounded. With the actual application of TM image in Tangshan green space distribution, it was proved that the remote sensing technology in the green space information extraction has been efficient, intuitive and accurate.
