Abstract: The genus Hackelchloa Kuntze (Poaceae ) and the species Hackelchloa granularia (Linn.) Kuntze were reported as new record plant from Jiangxi province, China. The specimen was deposited in the Dendrological Herbarium of Forestry College, South China Agricultural University(CANT).
