Abstract: Jackfruit is a tropical species specializing in fruits, woody grain and precious timber, which contains plenty nutritional compositions and some precious plant active ingredients has a significant efficiency in antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, hypoglycemic and wound healing. This article gives a brief introduction of the nutritional ingredients and pharmacological functions of jackfruit, further research and the development prospects are also proposed.
