Abstract: Ecological floating bed technology (EFBT) was one kind of biomanipulations, and also a in-situ remediation technology. It uses the floating bed plant root or stem leaf to absorb, enrich, degrad or fix the (organic) pollutants in the contaminated water. Following the plants gaining, pollutants are reduced or eliminated, for the purification of water quality, environmental restoration. Study on the principle and characteristics, the application effect of EFBT were conducted, the application problems in aquaculture was discussed. At last, a feasibility analysis about its applied prospect in aquaculture was made.
