Abstract: This article discussed the strong demand of the puzzle-garden for the old people by analyzing their intellectual characteristics and considering their physiological and psychological characteristics, in order to extract several design principles for constructing the suitable puzzle-garden for the aged. On this foundation, the article demonstrated the concrete design methods from the garden design elements, respectively, including the venue space, trails, puzzle-landscape sketches, garden plants, landscape water, aiming to supply a purely fresh, healthy, harmonious, graceful and puzzle-garden environment for the aged.
