Abstract: It is the current hot topic of how to interpret and construct the residential zone landscape with cultural themes. Through the introducing of cases, this article not only analyzes the concept of modern Chinese landscape gardening and the characteristics of Huizhou-style culture, but also summarizes the methods of design for the residential zone landscape with the modern Chinese themes of Huizhou-style. The characteristics of the design are mainly embodied in the variety of customers, the heritage of culture, the modern interpretation of space, the abstract simplification of gardening materials, and the implementation of the plant landscape, ect.
