Abstract: In order to get leaf area of macadamia integrifolia accurately and conveniently, a new simple and accurate method was introduced in this paper. Digital camera was used to capture the images of macadamia's leaf with ruler in this method, and AutoCAD software was used to get poly-line which was the same area as the actual leaves area. The t-test was carried between grid method and AutoCAD method for same leaves. The results proved that the new method showed the same accuracy as the grid method for measuring macadamia leaves area.
