Abstract: The agronomy requirements of the southern winter potato were considered, the advantage and disadvantage of existing machines of potato were analyzed, the overall structure of potato planter machine was designed. The structure of the machine was given with Solidworks. The structures of the key parts were designed and the parameters of them were calculated. The theoretic foundation was offered for the sample machine, and the functions such as trenching, fertilizing, planting, soil covering and compacting can be realized by the machine.
