茎蔓修剪处理对巴戟天脱毒植株生长和肉质根内含物积累的影响

    Effects of Stem and Vine Pruning on the Growth and Accumulation of Fleshy Root Constituents in Virus-free Morinda officinalis Plants

      目的 研究茎蔓修剪处理对巴戟天(Morinda officinalis How)植物生长及其肉质根内含物积累的影响。
      方法 以肇庆产区主栽品种‘黑穗仔’巴戟天复壮脱毒种苗为试验材料,设置茎蔓修剪与未修剪2种处理,连续3年开展田间试验,定期测定植株生长指标情况,并检测肉质根水分、水溶性浸出物和耐斯糖等含量。
      结果 与未修剪处理相比,茎蔓修剪处理显著提升植株的茎分枝数和新叶萌发数,其最大茎分枝数达22.00(±0.82)条,而未修剪处理为17.00(±1.25)条;茎蔓修剪处理茎粗增加28.00%(1 080 d);植株总叶数增加89.08%(720 d);后期叶绿素含量(SPAD值)也显著升高(P<0.05);但360~1 080 d时,叶面积显著低于未修剪处理(P<0.05)。茎蔓修剪处理显著诱导植株二级、三级分蘖根的发生与膨大,与未修剪处理植株相比,1 080 d时茎蔓修剪处理植株二、三级分蘖根数量增加56.45%、49.81%;地下部分鲜质量和干质量分别显著增加28.00%、27.00%。1 080 d采收测定结果表明,茎蔓修剪处理的干燥肉质根水分、水溶性浸出物、耐斯糖含量分别为11.00%、68.40%、4.60%,未修剪处理分别为10.40%、73.30%、6.20%;均显著高于药典标准。
      结论 对巴戟天脱毒植株适时进行茎蔓修剪处理,可打破植株顶端优势,诱导分蘖根的发生与膨大,有效促进根系发育和肉质根生物量积累,进而提升巴戟天药材的产量与药效的道地性。

       

      Abstract:
      Objective To clarify the effect of stem and vine pruning on the growth traits and the accumulation of constituents in the fleshy roots of Morinda officinalis How.
      Method This study used rejuvenated virus-free seedlings of the main cultivated variety 'Heisuizai' from the Zhaoqing production area as experimental materials, set up two treatments: stem and vine pruning and unpruning. Field experiments were conducted for three consecutive years to observe plant growth indicators and determine the moisture, water-soluble extract, and nystose contents in fleshy roots.
      Result Compared with unpruned plants, stem and vine pruning significantly increased the number of stem branches and the emergence of new leaves. The maximum number of stem branches reached 22.00 (±0.82) in pruned plants, compared with 17.00 (±1.25) in unpruned plants; the stem diameter increased by 28.00% at 1 080 days; and the total number of leaves increased by 89.08% at 720 days. The later-stage chlorophyll content (SPAD value) was also significantly increased (P < 0.05). However, the leaf area of pruned plants was significantly lower than that of unpruned plants at 360~1 080 days(P < 0.05). Stem and vine pruning significantly induced the occurrence and enlargement of secondary and tertiary tillering roots. Compared with unpruned plants, the numbers of secondary and tertiary tillering roots at 1 080 days increased by 56.45% and 49.81%, respectively, and the fresh and dry weights of the underground parts increased by 28.00% and 27.00%. The harvest measurements at 1 080 days showed that the moisture, water-soluble extract, and nystose contents in the dried fleshy roots of pruned plants were 11.00%, 68.40%, and 4.60%, respectively, while those in unpruned plants were 10.40%, 73.30%, and 6.20%, respectively. The moisture, water-soluble extract, and nystose contents in the fleshy roots of both treatments were significantly higher than the pharmacopoeial standards.
      Conclusion Therefore, timely stem and vine pruning of virus-free M. officinalis plants can break apical dominance and induce the occurrence and enlargement of tillering roots. This practice effectively promoted root development and fleshy root biomass accumulation, thereby improving the yield and medicinal geoherbal quality of M. officinalis medicinal materials.
