Abstract: In general，the tea garden construction must be supported by topographic map. Google Earth can provide 1∶10000-1∶50000 small scale terrain data，which can provide a fast and precise terrain data，by the construction of Digital Elevation Model. This paper collected elevation data in Google Earth，constructed the digital elevation model with a Gaussian model of Kriging method by spatially interpolating，and made the topographic maps with two types of contour interval to apply in planting region division，planning of roads，irrigation equipments，drainage facilities，taking a tea garden planning of Shaoguan City in Guangdong province as an example. It provides a way to make topographic maps quickly and support tea garden concept planning and the overall planning.
