Abstract: The pig slaughter capacity of Guangdong province in 2014 maintained steady growth，while the pig breeding stock fell sharply and the speed of sows weeded out accelerated. This was one of main reasons that promoted the market price of pig becomes higher. Besides，the pig grain ratio in the second half maintained in green normal area for six months. These results showed that pig farming of Guangdong province has restored to normal level gradually and raising pig was going into the profitable stage. This paper focused on the specific cause of rising pork price and the pig industry market trend in 2015. Meanwhile，to provide some strategies and suggestions for dealing with the pig industry problems currently.
